OUR PRECIOUS ADRIAN

8 lbs 1 oz, 19 inches long

Adrian was born on May 11, 2010 at 7:41 am at Pioneer Valley Hospital. I was supposed to go in at 7:00 am to try to turn Adrian because last we knew he was breech. My doctor wanted to break my water after turning him and hopefully deliver without a c-section. I began having contractions around 2:00 am and the contractions came fast and strong. We took the kids to Grandma and Grandpa's and arrived at the hospital at 6:00am. I was dilated to a 6 already and was going to die if I didn't get an epidural fast.
I finally recieved an epidural after finding out that Adrian was already head down and getting ready to come out. The epidural seemed to take forever to work and I still had pain down the back of my left thigh and in my butt (probably due to a pinched nerve or something). I still couldn't quite relax but I quickly got to a 10 and I delivered him 1 hr and 41 minutes later, so only 5 1/2 hours of labor. Yeah!

Adrian has a full head of soft, black hair and is just so adorable and I'm glad he is finally here.

Lucas is such a happy, proud papi and was so good to help out and show him off at the hospital.

Josh, Brinleigh and Bella stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house and came to visit that evening after Grandma got off work. They were so excited to finally see Adrian out of mommy's tummy.

Adrian and I were able to leave the hospital the next day. We left around 1:30 in the afternoon and went to get the kids from Grandma and Grandpa's. Adrian did not pass his hearing test but he will take another test in a couple of weeks and hopefully he just has fluid in his ears.

The kids just love to be around Adrian and they surrounded him before I could even get him out of his car seat at home. They are all such good big siblings and always want to help take care of him.

We can't believe we have 4 kids now. We love them so, so much and they always want to take pictures with Adrian. We'll see how big of a change 4 kids is from 3.

IT'S WII TIME!

We went over to Uncle Devan and Aunt Treasa's for dinner and a fun night playing the Wii. It was Lucas' first time playing. We rocked out to Rock Band, but it was difficult because the kids wanted to play too but there wasn't much for them to do. We tried to let them help but that didn't work out too well for our scores.

We also played tennis and boxing, which of course we didn't last long because we were all about to die. The kids loved the boxing though because they could just Go! Go! Go! without having to understand too much. It was a lot of fun!

The kids love going to Uncle Devan and Aunt Treasa's and sitting with them at church every Sunday. We're glad they are in our ward and live so close now.

LIFE

Life is busy, busy, busy! I have three kids running around, making messes, crying, making messes and did I mention making messes. It never seems to end but neither does my love for them.

My stomach is getting bigger and bigger and I'm finding it difficult to tie my shoes, bend over to pick up toys and I can't even see my feet anymore. I also can't see Bella when she is in front of me unless she is a distance away.

All my kids are growing up so fast and they are going to seem even bigger when we have a new little one at home.

All around, life is good and I am so blessed and truly happy!
